LIFE. a soul poem by Isaac ALADEOGO
The Fulani lamp gloomed our consciousness, our attentions as we stood in forgetfulness drippped into the golden charcoal, we were as melt down as milky fat, as the fire ball turned to ashes, we also ache into hopelessly.
We were trained like an art work, our mothers had the artistic license to impressively and expressively stylize our wholeness, some of us behaved like abstracts, our life all depend on our orientations and inscriptions on our stone hearts.
We kept opening another chapter of life, we kept finding our ways on different paths, we started meeting exposure to days and night, everyday; we get closer to the mystery behind the moon and the stars, our faiths and our faces keep changing to histories, its just as if our world has been sequentially programmed, we are prisoners.
Life is a Master slave, he works for his master Death, he has chained all my friends and I am with them, life feeds us well like an agro chickens, little do we know about where life is taking me and my friends to. Death, death, how do we escape from life?
